Guest guest
What if you added it to a slushie or made it into a popsicle? The icy texture may hide the grit. Thanks a lot for the charcoal suggestions, guys! I should have mentioned my son has always had texture sensitivities and has never tolerated soft, creamy or wet foods, which makes it so hard b/c I can't mix his supplements into anything but juice. At this point he will not take applesauce. I've been able to hide the color of the charcoal in an opaque lidded cup but he can feel gritty texture and then he won't go near it. Is everybody's charcoal gritty? Maybe there's a brand w/ a finer texture?Soraya I'm not jo, but before my boys could swallow capsules, I gave charcoal in homemade pearsauce. Activated charcoal is tasteless and odorless. You can hide it in anything you want as far as taste and odor goes. The only drawback is that it is black. It is just a matter of whether or not the color will bother him.>> Hi jo, how do you give the charcoal? In juice, or can your child swallow> capsules?
