ferritin was good at 98 and cortisol was actually high not low...could high cortisol cause the same issue as low?Subject: Re: blood work questionTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, January 5, 2010, 4:09 AM

what can cause a high FT3 (4.8 with range of 2.3-4.2)

lower normal FT4 (1.20 with range of 0.73-1.95)

TSH ,0.1

With these labs on naturethroid, I have to think tthe T3 is pooling and

noit gettign to your cells properly. This would be from low Ferritin or

low cortrisol.

interesting..cause the morning cortisol was high...and 5 pm was normal with 10 pm being slightly high again...so if this is the case and ferritin is 98 what else could keep the FT3 from getting into the cells?? Subject: Re: blood work questionTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, January 5, 2010, 7:38 AM

No high cortils would cause a lower FT3. It causes poor conversoion of

T4 to T3 .
