Guest guest
what can cause a high FT3 (4.8 with range of 2.3-4.2) lower normal FT4 (1.20 with range of 0.73-1.95) TSH ,0.1 With these labs on naturethroid, I have to think tthe T3 is pooling and noit gettign to your cells properly. This would be from low Ferritin or low cortrisol. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
ferritin was good at 98 and cortisol was actually high not low...could high cortisol cause the same issue as low?Subject: Re: blood work questionTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, January 5, 2010, 4:09 AM what can cause a high FT3 (4.8 with range of 2.3-4.2) lower normal FT4 (1.20 with range of 0.73-1.95) TSH ,0.1 With these labs on naturethroid, I have to think tthe T3 is pooling and noit gettign to your cells properly. Guest guest
No high cortils would cause a lower FT3. It causes poor conversoion of T4 to T3 . -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
interesting..cause the morning cortisol was high...and 5 pm was normal with 10 pm being slightly high again...so if this is the case and ferritin is 98 what else could keep the FT3 from getting into the cells?? A) The only other thing I can think of is HIGHRT3 alreay in the receptors maybe from the high cortiosl. Maybe this is how high cortils can cause labs like these. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
