Guest guest
Completely understandable, Mia I went through a similar thing a few months ago, and was barely paying attention to the group for several months until I felt " ready " to dive in again. The most important thing is to take care of yourself, and I'm glad you and your T figured out how to go about helping yourself get better. (((hugs))) Holly > > > So I had therapy today. Guest guest
Take all the time you need. Its perfectly normal and natural. I've done that myself from time to time. Sometimes I need an intense dose of interactive sharing at Group sites, and other times I need to pull back and take " time off " to process thoughts and feelings... so I read & participate less or even take a complete break for a while. Participate as much or as little as is suitable for *you*, and absolutely NO hard feelings! best wishes, -Annie > > > > > > > So I had therapy today. Guest guest
Happy Birthday! Last year, when I found out I was accepted into my current school, two friends bought me take-out (insisting I choose whatever I wanted) and let me have my pick of the tequila that went into our margaritas. I realized I had never been celebrated like that. When everyone blew off my 16th birthday, I just started throwing my own parties. It sounds sad, but it was really cool to be celebrated for an evening. Even in the most simple of ways! What a beautiful new experience that was for me! And I'm so glad you received the same experience. How wonderful for you! Blessings, Karla > > My therapist had been telling me for awhile now that she wanted to have a > birthday party for me because I never had one as a child. Guest guest
Hi everyone & thank you. I am checking in because I miss the list & everyone here. I'm still struggling a bit but have my highs & lows... I guess everyone does. I'm starting to write a list of emotional triggers and what the emotion I feel in relation to them is. One big one is other people doing dishes... nada would go nuts if she had to do them. Fiance gets kind of angry when he does them too because he & I are the only 2 out of 5 living here that really do them regularly. So I did notice for sure I feel fear, obligation & guilt... hey look, FOG. Anyway, going to read a little on the list & see how everyone's doing & what is going on. Hope all is well with everyone. I'm still going to monitor how often I'm checking things here... like GS said, I think I was on way too much. I guess it happens. But I still find the group to be very helpful. Guest guest
Miss you guys too, that's why I'm checking in a bit today. Just going to try not to get absorbed in nada-land craziness. I'm hanging in there, hope you're doing good too GS Mia On Mon, Jan 31, 2011 at 7:14 PM, Girlscout Cowboy wrote: > Hi miss you! Hope you are ok. Guest guest
I'm glad you stopped by to check in. I go through days where I just read but don't really comment. Then have days where I just need to vent. I find this place to be the best to vent since you all understand and actually believe me. Also, I don't feel comfortable discussing it with my siblings. Like until they realize it themselves, it's too dangerous.
