I take T3 every 2-3 hrs, but I only take it in 5mcg increments. I also metabolize meds quickly, so I dose HC at the same time.But during my HC weaning process, I found that I do better if I wait 45 min after I take HC to take T3 so that I have enough HC in my system to be able to handle T3. Yes, it is a huge pain in the butt, but I keep telling myself it's only temporary.

This is especially true for the very first dose in the morning. So you might want to try taking T3 about an hour after you take your HC in the morning (or whenever you start to feel like you're getting a good dose of HC), and you might be able to take HC every 4 hours like you used to.

Thank you. Any thoughts or idea on dosing then? It is very hard to take the HC and t3 on such different schedules. My HC doesn't last 4 hours like it used to when I first started taking it. But back then I wasn't on T3, so I suppose I go through the HC faster now.

Dosing:

9:30 -- HC, t3

12 -- HC

12:30 -- t3

2:30 -- HC

3:30 -- t3

5 to 5:30 - HC

6 - t3

See how terrible this schedule is! :-( My life revoles around taking my meds.

My doctor suggested SR t3, but I am worried to just swap over. I have no idea how much my cynomel equates to in terms of sr t3. Nick wrote somewhere it might 60% as strong as cynomel.
