I think strength of product (percentage of oleuropein) makes a difference. It was a silver bullet for my son during his last PANDAS flare a couple years ago. I immediately started it again when he got sick again last year and had no benefits from it. We restarted it 2 months ago at a higher quality and boom...big improvement. depending on what you are using it for a liquid may not get enough in him and you may need to force the pill. things like strep require high doses you simply can't get in liquid forms
