Guest guest
I am happy to say this is the first Thanksgiving that I have not thought about what I can or can't eat, and as a result, I'm eagerly anticipating spending time with my family, the warm crackle of a fire, shared camaraderie around the game table after dinner, and just reconnecting with those I haven't seen for a while. Even though I'm the one having the dinner, doing some but not all the cooking, I haven't gone crazy thinking about food. I am not going to " save up " to be able to eat more. I'm going to eat as normal that day and eat what I am hungry for from the dinner table. It's such a relief not to have to think about it. In addition to knowing I can eat when I'm hungry, I think the fact that my body is being fed enough every day is beginning to physiologically affect me positively, that food is becoming just food, and is not calling me.
