Guest guest
Tom, glad to be of some help. Also nice to hear from someone who's familiar with my location. Most of the CA members have been in the Southern CA area, so it's nice to hear from someone in Northern CA. I've only been in Vallejo for about 3 or 4 years. I used to be in San and area before that. Vallejo's growing up slowly. If you're looking for any information, let me know and I'll see what i can find. I have two 3 inch binders full of tons of stuff I've gotten off the web. You might also want to look at the Hopkin's GI website. It's got everything on both acute pancreatitis and chronic pancreatitis and might be of some help to the doctor too. http://hopkins-gi.org/subspecialties/acutepancreas/diagnosis.htm http://hopkins-gi.org/subspecialties/chronic/introduction/symptoms.htm I've printout the whole site and stuck in in my binder and periodically go back to it to see if anything additional has been added. Guest guest
I look at recipies I can find and look at other peoples journals. Since you are in school, I would suggest that you cook some meals and freeze them into individual servings. By doing this you always have something ready to pull out and eat. Maureen question where do you all get your ideas for dinners? now that i am not in school i need to find ways to cook, that are good and low in points. also i dont want to get bored with what i eat. thanks erin ~There are no strangers here... Guest guest
I think $400.00 is more than enough for food for two days. Although I have heard that Canada is a bit more expensive than the US. Is that the cheapest you could get a hotel for? And how will get around while you are there? Guest guest
Having just had the surgery I can't imagine what it would feel like to have a cough at the same time as surgery. I wouldn't do it. You run a risk of getting phenemonia anyway and that would definately increase that risk. It's a tough task to take the deep breaths they need you to take after surgery. Just my little bit of input. Hope you get well very soon! Guest guest
I would like to ask......Are there people here who are learning to eat intuitively and losing weight? I have not read the Inuitive Eating book yet, but I have it on reserve at the library. I have legalized all food in certain amounts, but I'm terrified to say I can eat as much as I want, or I can numb or comfort myself with food if I want. I'm terrified I will quickly begin to look like the Goodyear blimp, that I will never get to the point of not really wanting it as you talked about in your post with the cake, Sandarah.
