It was so nice the past 3 days to be above freezing during the day! woo-hoo!! The lows have been between 15-20 degrees for the past few nights. But the times they are a changin'. Tonight it will be 12 degrees, according to the forecast. We'll have several nights of colder temps. The fires are warm and toasty though, so all is well. I'm not as cold as I was --don't know what made the difference. I guess my internal thermostat decided to kick in again. I hope you are all staying warm and are all safe. hugs Sharonjoin me on Facebook:Sharon Mars

Warm... for now anyway.. hopefully the oil won't run out before

stops and gets some on his way home..

No, I do have a 275 gallon tank out there.. but I'm still running off

that 55 gallon drum that we did some creative engineering with when we

first set up the house and moved it.. Didn't have the tank then.. and

didn't have the $$ to get the tank " then " .. so we improvised.. 55

gallon drum works well..

Got the tank.. and nephews through marriage even went so far as to get

it all leveled up on blocks and off the ground.. and one comment during

that process that I heard was " we'll probably be back down to plumb it

in, if she has to wait for Uncle to get it done. " .. LOL.. and they

were right.. I'm still waiting to have it plumbed in.. LOL.. Comes down

to.. when we have the extra $$$ to do the plumbing stuff.. it's usually

summertime and we aren't thinking (I know.. I need to put it on a list

of things to accomplish and put the list on the fridge or something)...

and we don't get er done... LOL..

I figure it this way.. one of these nights it's gonna be cold and windy

and he'll be freezin' his butt off in the middle of the night in the

middle of a blizzard and he HAS to go out and get oil (fortunately

there's a Sheetz right out the road, open 24/7 even on Christmas).. but

he'll remember coming home missing body parts.. and we'll get the big

tank plumbed in.. THEN we'd only have to figure out where to come up

with nearly a grand to fill the thing... LOL

Keep saying that what we need to do is " during the summer " .. go out and

bring home 10 gallon or so every couple of days or so.. and put it in

the big tank... and we definitely have good intentions.. much easier to

pour the stuff in there in warm weather.. but NOOOOO.. we forget during

the warm months.. and comes another winter where every couple of days in

the freezing cold he'll be traipsing home 10 gallon and dumping it in..

HEY.. but the really really GREAT part about having MS.. and being in

Chair... I don't have to do the heavy work anymore!!!

So I'm warm.. and cozy.. with a puppies head in my lap.. sitting on my

bed with my trusty laptop (thank goodness for wireless internet)..

because low and behold.. my 2 week old power chair is on the fritz.. and

it decided to go on the fritz while I was sitting at the kitchen table

last evening.. and the kitchen table is against the wall.. so I couldn't

push the table away to climb out of the chair... and on top of all

that.. I had to pee.. and it was one of those RIGHT NOW I MEAN IT type

deals.. LOL..

Never a freaking dull moment around here ever.. it seems...

Good news is.. called the company at 8:48 this morning.. and by 11:30

had a visit scheduled sometime tomorrow.. won't know until the guy who's

making these two calls tomorrow (one is 2 hours from where I live.. and

they are an hour, with traffic, from me).. is getting to me first or

second... but he will be here.. now all I gotta do is figure out how to

control my Boxer's turned attack dog long enough to get the guy in and

out without anybody suffering any undue panic or anxiety attacks..

hopefully the guy won't be blond...

HUGS
