See? I remembered to change the subject line... Anyway, I digress... He ran? And crossed streets? *shudder* poor baby...the bug driver ought be hoisted by his scrotum...or, worse, be assaulted by Debbi's killer boobs...no, they are Not supposed to drop hem off "blocks away". Never. They are supposed to drop them at the end of the driveway, or in front of the building...always... ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ --* OFF TOPIC, but another earthquake update> > >> > >> > >> > > A 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck 10 miles from Port-Au-Prince, Haiti,> > > the USGS reports.> > >> > > I can report that the above (from CNN and ABC7) did not phase Ooki!> > >> > > Love to you all,> > > n> > >> > > P.S. I think a lot of things have to do with the school district one is in..

I had to fight with Connellsville School District (on a number of things

actually) that my elementary student WOULD be picked up and dropped off

at the end of our driveway.. Bus stop was there when I was in school,

and just because for years there weren't any " school aged " children

being picked up there.. we're not going to move the bus stop, up and

across the road out of sight.. especially when HE was the only school

aged child in the area at this time..

He WILL not be crossing a highway UNTIL the bus arrives either.. not

even safe then, but much safer than trying to cross without those

flashing red lights..

I went into shock when I lived in CT.. and Earl started his new

school... Boy that lived directly across the road from us and he was in

the same classroom with Earl... They rode different buses to school!..

Seriously.. because NO child crossed any road to get on a bus, stopped

or not in CT.. they ran two completely different buses to pick up kids

on each side of the road..

Of course Earl had a big old oak tree in the front yard to hide behind

when the bus approached in the morning.. Yup mom.. bus never stopped for

me... LOL.. rotten kid.. didn't keep him out of school though.. rotten

mom!..

Though nothing beat the " I don't know what my glasses were doing laying

in the middle of the driveway when dad ran over them with the car " ...
