Hi,Since I started on the diet and the OXY-OXC, I smell sickly sweet all the time! Even my urine - almost like a candy floss smell! Anyone else experienced this? Add To Favorites!

Are you taking anything with fenugreek? It can cause a sweet smell from the urine and the pores. Add To Favorites!

No, only Milk Thistle. I found stuff online that said fenugreek can make you smell like maple syrup, but nothing on milk thistle! Add To Favorites!

elsielou,Have you been tested for diabetes? Sweet urine is also associated with ketones in the urine from diabetes out of control. Not to be an alarmist, but it could be possible that the smell and the milk thistle just happened to come around the same time. Milk thistle, however does have an effect on the pancreas, which for most is suppose to be positive, but if a person has undiagnosed diabetes, then they should only use milk thistle under medical supervision, so I'm not sure what effect it could have on the overall condition.

I'd suggest you either go immediately to your doctor for testing, or discontinue the milk thistle and observe your urine and body odor. Add To Favorites!

Hi, I discontinued the milk thistle as I'm doing a Liver Flush today. My urine etc is back to norme. Thanks for asking. Diabetes is always something I'm aware of as my sister has it. Add To Favorites!
