Guest guest
The labs do not show results for TSH, T4 or T3.... I am completely baffled by this! usually my free t3 while on armour (150 mg daily) was mid range.... Had a total thyroidectomy in 10/2005 So I am confused! Guest guest
, I'd ask and then push him to do those tests. Tell him yoiu've had a prpoblem with both in the past and want to make sure things are ok. I've also learned that if I compliment the doc on how much good I've heard about their ability to help patients get well, they tend to be more open to rinning tests and getting med. I had to do this yesterday with my endo when he wanted me to stay on T4 despite my lab resuts, and ended up with him saying "oh definitely the T3-only is the way to go." Now if I could only get him to work with me on pituitary and adrenal testing... While you're there consider asking him to run the test for Vitamin D 25-Hydroxy. Most folks are deficient these days, and I did feel better once I started supplementing Vit D.Good luck!Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryDate: Thu, 7 Jan 2010 07:01:52 -0800 (PST)To: <RT3_T3 >Subject: Re: old lab for RT3 Here is the closest labs that I have found to that July 3, 2008 reverse t3 test Labs ~ May 19, 2008Free T4 0.87 ng/dl range: 0.71 - 1.85Free T3 2.95 pg/mL range: 2.30 - 4.20TSH 0.12 uIU/mL range: 0.30 - 5.00 What or any suggestions or feedback? Guest guest
Hi , If the measurement for the reverse t3 test was pg/mL then I get a ratio of 9.5. But this is pointless because the tests were done on different days plus they are 2 years old. So you might as well forget about these results and get new ones.
