In addition to the Position Paper of the NAEMSP that Dr. Bledsoe referenced,

here's information from the Trauma List that can also be found on the

trauma-wiki.

Apparently, the American College of Surgeons is slowly moving away from

showing steroids to be of any use in 'routine' spinal cord injury.
