Never heard of it, but I might get it too. Am building on my re-education

around food. This sounds like it's worth looking into. Sandarah who's home on

There was a Diet Survivor group on Yahoo

<http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/dietsurvivors/ . You may want to check it

out before you invest in another book?

Diet Survivors, the one led by Moran, is defunct. She activated the board

in recent months after a long hiatus (of a few years, I think), posted a handful

of times, one of those posts about her book, then unexpectedly closed up shop

again. Reactivated the board a short while later for like 1 post, then

disappeared again.

I know the 1st time (few years ago), she closed the board because she had too

much going on in her life. However, the recent activity was just weird to me.

Given how little time she kept the group open the second time around, it felt

like the only reason she re-opened the board was to push the remaining copies of

her book. Just felt havey-cavey.

Yes, I went to check it out and saw that

it was closing. There were comments on there about how weird it was that she

came and went twice so quickly.

The group was my initial exploration into the world of IE. I wish she at least

had the archives up. It was a terrific group when it was active.

May be just me, but I don't like her assertion that we should see overeating as

" greed " apparently she believes making us feel greedy will keep us from eating

too much. and eating mindlessly. I don't need yet another reason to feel bad

about eating. I got into it on the group, then left.

I tip-toed into that group (Diet Survivors) for a very short time when I first

started non-dieting and only remember that I found something 'odd' about it. Not

sure if it was quasi-rules (like you mention Alia), or just a personal reaction

to a different method, but I know I didn't stay long.
