Guest guest
Diet Survivors, the one led by Moran, is defunct. She activated the board in recent months after a long hiatus (of a few years, I think), posted a handful of times, one of those posts about her book, then unexpectedly closed up shop again. Reactivated the board a short while later for like 1 post, then disappeared again. I know the 1st time (few years ago), she closed the board because she had too much going on in her life. However, the recent activity was just weird to me. Given how little time she kept the group open the second time around, it felt like the only reason she re-opened the board was to push the remaining copies of her book. Just felt havey-cavey. > > > > > > Has anyone read this book? Guest guest
Yes, I went to check it out and saw that it was closing. There were comments on there about how weird it was that she came and went twice so quickly. Kate On Behalf Of hardests Diet Survivors, the one led by Moran, is defunct. Guest guest
The group was my initial exploration into the world of IE. I wish she at least had the archives up. Guest guest
May be just me, but I don't like her assertion that we should see overeating as " greed " apparently she believes making us feel greedy will keep us from eating too much. and eating mindlessly. I don't need yet another reason to feel bad about eating. I got into it on the group, then left. Alia > The group was my initial exploration into the world of IE. Guest guest
The Yahoo diet survivors group is still available to read. The last post is Jan 1 but you can read all the old posts, I think. > > > > > > There was a Diet Survivor group on Yahoo > > <http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/dietsurvivors/ . Guest guest
I tip-toed into that group (Diet Survivors) for a very short time when I first started non-dieting and only remember that I found something 'odd' about it. Not sure if it was quasi-rules (like you mention Alia), or just a personal reaction to a different method, but I know I didn't stay long.
