Guest guest
Tilley, I think animals are like babies; they eat what they want from what's placed in front of them and no more. That's been the case with both our dog and cat. We fill their dishes and they almost always walk away with leftovers. I wish to learn from them, to stop when I'm satisfied. The only thing my dog gets to eat is what I scoop out into his dish twice a day. He can't open the pantry door, or fix himself something from the fridge, so if he's wanting more, too bad. I wish it were that simple for people. But then I hear people say, "but he's hungry!". Of course he's hungry. Dogs and cats and all other animals are programmed to eat whatever they can get, whenever they can get it, because who knows when their next meal might come. It might be days. Well, I guess people are too...... But we've so arranged our lives that those meals are always there. Tilley > > Just saw an article for PET weight loss. It is a program from Craig. OMG I guess some pets are really overweight and their owners need some help. Sandy >
