Guest guest
Val, Nick I have started taking 2.5 mg of generic cytomel at bedtime and sleep like a rock. I tried to add in the day, but it made me anxious. My test results for cortisol was high at night; so this made me think it would lower the Cortisol for nighttime and seems to be working. I have noticed I get a headache right around bedtime before taking the Cytomel. Is this because of withdrawal effects? I also notice a little adrenaline surge when getting close to the time of taking it at night? I wasn't able to take Cytomel during the day without having weird feelings and anxiety, not panic but definitely felt on edge. My Cortisol for morning was mid range. I am confused about this. When I did the saliva I wasn't able to get enough spit until about 2-3 hours later. Frustrating. i was pressed to get the results back because I also had hormone testing done. So, I just wasn't able to save it for the next few days to get it back in time. My symptoms feel like low Cortisol and I feel more stressed than ever. I will post my results as soon as the RT3 comes back. What do you think is going on. Would I be able to tolerate T3 with a middle range Cortisol? Thanks Rhonda
Guest guest
Some peopel can tolerate it with middle range cortisol as long as their ferritin is good. Have you had that tested? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
