Of COURSE the children didn't really notice. All people REALLY care about,

especially small children, which those were, was how that person made them FEEL.

In fact, as I get larger and larger, I need to keep that in mind with my own

students.

I cannot imagine ever doing that--counting points for so long, or anything

really. Who was it hee that said they got put on a diet when they were nine

years old. I wanted to yell at that mom. How long was this child supposed to

stay on a diet? For the rest of their lives? It,s really trully crazy-making.

400 pounds then went on Weight Watchers and lost all the excess weight. The

news people were all smiling and happy and the woman in question is like a Zumba

teacher or something and was shown jumping up and down in a classroom where she

teaches kindergarten.

good teacher. I was like " really? " How, in a fat-hating society did these kids

not notice that their teacher was very, very overweight?! And why was she and

her entire class jumping up and down throughout the whole interview?

eliminating all grains, all carbs, all fat or just plain eliminating food. But

to obsessively count every bite, every snack, every meal - for years?!

was tied to me finding the packet of books and counters I bought at my last

I'd be jumping up and down and would become a Zumba teacher too.
