I am concerned that this bug might be hard to get rid of. We go after all bugs

with a long term regimen, like 6 months to a year minimum. Also, with

parasites, the entire family needs to be treated.

What protocol were you using? I read on www.badbugs.com that this can be very

complicated to eliminate. Multiple medications used simultaneously may be

warranted.

Dientameoba Fragilis, a protazoan parasite. So we started a parasite cleanse

with the last full moon (four days before) and we are planning to continue it

until about four days after this full moon.

sensory defensive. He's not normally a sensory child, like our 5 year old who

has sensory processing disorder. Would this normally last the entire month like

this or do you think it's just coincidental timing and maybe he's becoming more

sensory...he's two and a half, which is about when our five and a half year old

started showing signs too, but it wasn't so sudden, like this. He's never been

vaccinated and he's never been a sensory kid, but the sensory stuff clearly got

more intense with the cleanse. He's experiencing things like screaming over

wearing underpants when we first put them on, yelling, " TIGHT, TIGHT!! " and

crying. He eventually gets over it, but the battle initially is intense. I

just have to walk away from him. His shoes and his car seat straps get this

same response as well. I can't recall, if he had some of it just before the

cleanse or not though. If it did, it was nowhere near this bad, I do know that.

It's possible that you used too high a dose too quickly, even if you used a very

low dose. I did a parasite cleanse on my NT 3 yr old and I last summer and we

were both very irritable the entire time. I was using the same protocol you

described (I think) - starting 4 days before full moon and going several days

after the next one - and we were using the NOW complex. I rubbed the tincture

into her feet starting at 1 dropperful/night and increasing to 2 droppersful,

and I was taking the tincture internally at whatever the adult dose was. Since

then I have read that we might have had an easier time if we had started at

lower doses and increased to the full doses more slowly.

I don't know for sure it that's the case because we haven't done a 2nd cleanse

to date, but it's a thought.

I would consider that if he is detoxing the pants might be tight because his

liver hurts. I know at times when i have detoxed heavily tight clothing makes my

liver hurt worse. Sensory issues (irritable) can also be adrenal related. The 2

together could mean the detox is heavy, effecting both the liver and adrenals.

So using things that help with both (Natural Salt,Rhodiola e, Inositol,

Milk Thistle, Apple Juice, Mag Chloride/Malate) might be good.

has had many sensory issues. Underwear was a very difficult battle until

i changed to boxers. So it can be sensory (which is annoying and almost painful

at times) or it could mean actual pain.

Caryn,

I found this same research and this is why I am hitting this " bug " so hard. I

am using Humaworm for kids, W-W by Pure Herbs AND Artmesia! It's probably a

huge detox for him so I am supporting him in other ways and using PectaSol C to

mop up, an hour after giving the cleanse in the morning.

I plan on going 35 days this time around and then with each full moon I am going

to do more mini cleanses for about 8 days around each full moon. Then we will

do another cleanse in a few months. My whole family did go through a cleanse

about 4 months ago and plan on doing another one all together with the next

cleanse we do with him, we just wanted to get a head start on his issues. Since

I am home with him all day, I did the cleanse with myself this time around, as

well. I know it's not perfect, but I had the stuff to get going with him and

didn't want to wait until we were all going to do our cleanses, because I didn't

have the stuff for all of us. So basically he will get two cleanses in the time

that we have another one, I actually thought it might help matters since it

seems like this parasite is a difficult one to beat.

Interestingly, our other son didn't test positive for this parasite and they

were both tested at the same time.

Thanks Cheryl,

I have been using Real Salt, inositol, ashwagandha, ACE, artichoke extract and

magnesium glycinate with him. He can't have the milk thistle because of

oxalates and for all I know, the cleanse is probably high oxalate causing a

dump. So many layers...

I've never tried the rhodiola rosae, but this is the second timeit's come up

this week so maybe that is one I should consider next.

I actually increased his magnesium today and ironically, his BM was a little

firm (like larger balls) and less than usual. I hope the next one is better.

It was very dark too, so I think we are providing enough liver support.
