Guest guest
After giving myself time to get my ferritin back in order (it's now 74), I ran thyroid labs to see where I was at, and here are the results while taking 50mcg of Cynomel: 01.05.10 TSH - 0.014 L (range 0.450 - 4.500) 01.05.10 T3, Free - 3.7 (range 2.3 - 4.2) 01.05.10 T4, Free - 0.17 L (range 0.02 - 1.77) My T3 is the highest it's ever been (or at least since doctors started testing it)...no wonder I feel so much better! But it's still below the top of the range and my TSH and T4 have slightly risen since the last test (0.005 and 0.03 respectively, while on 62.5mcg). My temps are also not yet averaging 98.6, so do you think I should raise a bit when I get my new shipment in? Even if it means super-suppressing my TSH again? My lingering symptoms are neck pain when on the computer and water retention/weight gain. I'm also still dealing with acne and slightly irregular cycles, but I think those are sex hormone related. I think that's it! Overall I'm feeling great - like I finally have my life and health back! IT'S AMAZING!!! This year is gonna ROCK! ~Rainbow~ 30 year old Female 5'6 " 136lbs Dx: Hashi's, AF, Wheat Sensitivity Rx/OTC: Cynomel 50mcg, HC 27.5mg, Florinef 1tab, Potassium 80mEq, Sea Salt 3/4tsp My Log: http://tinyurl.com/pvgjmb My Blog: http://hyporainbow.wordpress.com

Guest guest
Thanks for the congrats and advice, Val I never could've done this without you!!! You are a literal LIFE SAVER!! I'll never be able to thank you enough. This time last year I had no life. I had just quit my job and was practically bed ridden. NOW the world is full of possibilities and I'm ready for whatever comes my way I'll never take my health for granted again! I wrote up a success story a few weeks ago and told Nick he could use it, but I'll work on a more " official " one and post it soon ~Rainbow~ 30 year old Female 5'6 " 136lbs Dx: Hashi's, AF, Wheat Sensitivity Rx/OTC: Cynomel 50mcg, HC 27.5mg, Florinef 1tab, Potassium 80mEq, Sea Salt 3/4tsp My Log: http://tinyurl.com/pvgjmb My Blog: http://hyporainbow.wordpress.com > > Congratulaitons! Guest guest
No problem, Terri! I'll write more details soon But from the start of diagnosis/treatment until now took about 14 months. I didn't switch to T3-only until August 13th of last year though. If I had done that from the beginning, I would've saved a LOT of time! ~Rainbow~ 30 year old Female 5'6 " 136lbs Dx: Hashi's, AF, Wheat Sensitivity Rx/OTC: Cynomel 50mcg, HC 27.5mg, Florinef 1tab, Potassium 80mEq, Sea Salt 3/4tsp My Log: http://tinyurl.com/pvgjmb My Blog: http://hyporainbow.wordpress.com > > So happy to hear you are seeing so much improvement Rainbow! It really does help to hear you and others share your stories when so many of us are at the beginning of our " road to health " journey. Just think what another few months will do as you get your FT3 even higher.
