From 4 pills to 1 pill , up to 3 pills and still on the Beta blocker?

Sorry sounds like bad management to me..

I will wait for an update from your new ENDO, but generally after

the initial hyper period 4-8 weeks the PTU is dropped to a

maintnance dose of 75mcg so 25mcg 3 times a day which si what I am

thinking you should be on..Most people can also be weaned off the

Beta Blocker after the first few months also, but I would not

suggest doing that with out seeing a cardiolgist and being properly

monitored first because of other complications you have had.

Diabetes can effect your thyroid levels and your thyroid levels can

also effect your diabetes so make sure you keep a close eye on your

sugar levels as you may need more or less insulin as your thyroid

comes closer to normal.

Having antibodies can keep your TSH suppressed even when your

thyroid levels are in normal range so ignore the TSH unless it takes

a big jump one way or the other but going by your Free's it looks

like you are swinging hypo..

Yahho has a Grave's support board and if you check them out they

will be able to go over labs, dosage etc..much better than I can.

I am looking for that board but can't find it.

Also I have been on the beta blocker for 3 years before my pregnancy

for my High blood pressure and the past 1 1/2 years for it as well.

Is that why they have not lowered the dose do you think? Because of

my HBP. I will update as soon as I know more and Thank YOU ALL!

You have come to the right place, where there are people who have/do feel

the way you do. Yes, there is light, but first I want to ask you----Why

didn't you go ahead and say to that doctor, instead of thinking it, " I WANT

TO KNOW NOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!! or you won't get even one more cent from me. "

Amazing how they expect to get paid for slapping you in the face. Just

amazing. Yes, gather those blood tests and show us the stuff. If you DON'T

live in New York state, then you can get your own testing done starting at

www.healthcheckusa.com. Free T3, Free T4, and TSH. You need a good doctor.

Please Help me, VERY LONG
