Hard! I told he couldn't buy any Yu gi oh cards when we stopped at the store. I knew I should have gotten them back into the car as soon as he started fixating on having to buy something. I'll know better the next time. As we were walking through the store and he kept asking me, he finally ran up behind me and kicked me in the back of the calf! Actually gave me a burn from the fabric of my jeans shifting and made me limp! No, I didn't kill him....but I did tell him that if I kicked him as hard as he just kicked me, he'd be crying. Spent 20 minutes in his room when we got home and had periodic discussions about how he needs to learn to control his temper. Probably won't remember a thing tomorrow. Oh well. I can always show him my leg to remind him ;-/ Sue

Guest guest
> Probably won't remember a thing tomorrow. Oh well. I can always > show him my leg to remind him ;-/ > This summer was the worst ever for . His behavior was over the top, off the wall, extreme, bizarre... well, fill in your choice of adjective. We were at the fair and he was hungry. We were having a pizza party with the 4H club. I asked him to wait until the pizza was opened and I would get him a piece. He had the most horrendous meltdown I've ever seen him have. I picked him up and carried him back to my parents camping trailer. He told me on the way that he was going to scratch me. He did. I have a 3 inch scar down my left check now. You'd be amazed how quickly he calms down when he's been threatening to hit me and he sees that scar. Somedays I almost think it was worth it. I hate for him to feel that guilty but if it stops him from hurting me or his sisters, well I guess it's not so bad to feel guilty. I would have grabbed my child by the shoulder or collar and dragged their butt out of the store and tossed them in the car! I would have just about lost it. You are a much calmer person. Guest guest
I could easily have clobbered him! But I also knew that he was obsessing and my reaction would have been a lost cause. Oh, and it's still sore and he did it about 9 hours ago. Sue Re: He kicked me! > ACK!!!!!
