Guest guest
What other ways can you reach her? Can you drive to her office? Try dialing again and see if you miss dialed. Or can you e-mail her? My T responds to texts and e-mails. Does she have a partner? can you google her office and see if she has a new number? You'll get her, just don't give up. Don't panic yet And that's what we are here for. Guest guest
How frustrating for you! Don't most doctors arrange to have a colleague take over their practice when they're going to be out of town, or give their patients an emergency number to use if they need it? Chronic sleep deprivation is not good; it can result in things like thought disorders, decrease in the ability to problem-solve, paranoia, panic, and possibly even hallucinations. This does not mean you are crazy, its a neuro-chemical side-effect of a chronic sleep deficit or insomnia (lack of any sleep at all.) I myself experienced interestingly bizarre hallucinations after entirely missing one-and-a-half night's sleep, so I know this is true. If this was me, I'd go see my regular primary care physician ASAP for help if I could not reach my therapist and I was experiencing a distressing increase in insomnia and the results of insomnia. Best of luck to you; we're here for you. -Annie > > > > > > > I tried calling several times yesterday & just tried again, and it says the > > number has been temporarily disconnected. > > > > She called me yesterday (i think?) to tell me she got my message & she had > > openings either wed or thur, but I can't get back to her. > > > > I also really feel I need to get through to her, i had another panic attack > > tonight and just can not sleep. i alwasy have issues with falling & staying > > asleep, unless i sleep during the daytime which is so weird to me. i wonder > > if it's something to do with night/darkness? > > > > i feel like a total screwy nut. i can't really focus or concentrate, i'm > > tired but not nearly as tired as i should be and again I have no > > recollection of like over an hour tonight! > > > > and i feel completely stupid for talking about it here, but i don't know > > where else to talk about it. perhaps i should shut up until i talk to her, > > that's what t's ar for. > > > > i'm also far to weird & lazy right now to type properly. > > > >
Guest guest
I got through to her today and she called back. I think it was a problem with her phone and that's the only number I could find online or anywhere. I have apt tomorrow at 1.
