Guest guest
I'm so glad for you that you gave yourself that gift: peace of mind, by blocking your nada totally on FaceBook. And yes: the children of high-functioning pd parents are basically screwed because this kind of pd person can appear so normal and even charming in public. Just having even one other person who is able and willing to validate your reality... one person who has witnessed the insidious covert abuse is so sanity-preserving. You can be your own validating witness by keeping a private diary or blog and recording each incident of abuse by date/time and details. Document every single damned incident; you'll be your own reality check that way, too. And how about we equip all kids with cel phones that have a digital recording feature so more of the covert abuse can be documented and used to get kids out of extremely abusive households. Its about freakin' time to level the playing field and give kids some power, sez I! -Annie > > Thanks everyone for your kind words of encouragement.
