Dear all,

(this is a bit long but I don't know how to make it shorter and I would

appreciate your opinion very much!)

I am in my third week with T3 and I am feeling better.

However, I am experiencing again some of the symptoms I had when rising Armour

and that is making me consider whether I may have confused symptoms of low

thyroid with adrenal fatigue. If that were the case... Could taking 30 mg of

cortisol (without needing it) contribute to my rT3 problem?

I have been having symptoms like nausea and tight neck which I thought where low

cortisol symptoms but which actually go away rising T3. I did came to the same

realization at the end of my period rising Armour, but never really put it all

together.

At the beginning my doctor recommended to rise 15 mg of Armour every 1-2 weeks

and soon in the process I started having strong reactions, particularly tight

neck and nausea (although I was also loosing weight and having " some " diarrhea).

I had a serum cortisol test before starting with Armour and it came out normal.

I also had a saliva cortisol test (also before Armour) and it also came out

normal. Even though the labs where saying I didn't have adrenal fatigue I

started with cortisol (I am taking 30 mg), because both me and my doc though the

symptoms seemed to indicate it.

Finally the symptoms disappeared (but I don't know if it was because the

cortisol or because i continued rising Armour).

but now I wonder... maybe I did misinterpreted my reactions and everything was

caused by me rising Armour too slowly...

I wonder if I should try to stop (gradually) the cortisol and see what happens.

However, now that I am rising T3 may not be such a good idea. What do you thing

about all this?
