My dearest Serene,

I am right there with you, my dear! Children do not deserve

to be abused and I am doing amny things similar to what you do. I

have called the police on many occasions when I witnessed abuse and

taking pics with your cell phone and speaking those words, an amazing

way of letting that child know you care and also showing the horrible

abuser you will not sit idely by. I am also one that does not buy

into that " It is not my business, or my child, don't get involved " .

I feel the same as you dear, if I do not get involved, I may as well

be saying it is ok to beat or harm this helpless child. Thank you

for this message. I have so tried to spread this word to others in

my neighborhood but they are fearful of consequences. I have been

threatened but I ask my Higher Power to protect me and all has been

well. Dirty looks from the abusers, etc. but that can't hurt me.

Knowing I have helped a child in some way whether small or big is my

blessing to that child and I am so glad to see that I have a kindred

spirit in this belief of protecting children, my dear! Blessings,
