Guest guest
Welcome . IE can be a bit difficult to get one's mind wrapped around at first. I would say that a tussle ends up going on between what we have learned to view eating and food as (mostly diet type thinking it would seem) and with a 'mute' INternal element that functions deep inside us (how one's body directs needs and satisfaction). It does take a while to let go of those long held phrases/concepts like 'healthy', calories, exercise and even meals that have been twisted into dictates instead of supportive nurturing. Its also quite hard to change 'gears' in terms of speed by which we go when it comes to changes such as IE suggests. Diets push QUICK! Wonderful! Perfect! results while IE offers a much slower, gentle way to embrace changes that you can dare to love and enjoy too. I hope you can gift yourself the pleasure of a leisurely wade into the IE pool (instead of running leap and dive!). I found that if I thought of IE as a huge delicious feast I could see that I wasn't going to be able to gobble it all down in a few bites! Instead nibble and taste to one's delight, eating what you like and as much as you need too. It means to find time each day to do some exercise. Not to exercise for hours to burn calories or exercise sporadically, but to incorporate it into a healthy attitude about taking care of myself, helping myself to stay healthy, be at less risk of illness and to see it as a daily gift I give to myself. Not to lose weight but to improve my stamina, my flexibility and strength, which will help me do more things in life. > Â > With this approach to life I lose weight and my food intake changes as I become more healthier. > Â >
