Guest guest
I agree, it so seems that the general 'palate' has become overly used to high salt and sweet content to be 'normal'! I have long cooked with less salt and always tell diners at our table to add to their taste. Many will salt BEFORE tasting! My dad used to grouse about this to me and never ever listened to the logic that one could ADD salt while overly salty would ruin the food. The worst food for salt is french fries - they are either way too salted or lacking of any ;-) Katcha > > Tilley, thanks for those ideas.
