One of my favorite books is " The Overfed Head " by Rob s. Six years ago I was very successful with intuitive eating and the tips outlined in this book. I had lost 25-30 pounds and was back to a size 6! I felt great, and was able to keep the weight off for about a year, and I NEVER felt deprived. But some how, I started gaining the weight back. And I very quickly lost touch with my " thintuition " as Rob s calls the ability to know when you are physically hungry vs. having the desire to eat for other reasons. Has anyone else had previous success with IE but gained the weight back? I try sooo hard to get back in touch with physical hunger cues, but I've found that I am a " distracted unconcious eater. " I eat sooo fast, that after I've finished, I realized I didn't enjoy any of what I ate and then I eat more. This is especially true of desserts!! Thank you and can't wait to hear from you all!
