I entered a creative writing contest a couple weeks ago and I won! Its all about diversity and overcoming it so I wrote about getting my Guide Dog, Velda. It will be published in a short anthology along with other stories about diversity and available at various colleges and universities in BC. I also won something, but not sure what. I go to a presentation on March 21st where I receive 5 complimentary copies of the book and meet a bunch of big wigs at the college.
