Guest guest
Hi Katrina. I think the IE way is to honor your own path and we each have our own. You find what works for you. Also in IE a lot of it is to just notice your hunger levels. IE is not a set of rules and it is a little hard to get away from that when we have been on a dieting path for a long time. I found it harder without rules actually but that is EXternal and IE is focused on INternal cues. It takes a while. Looking forward to hearing from you again. Sandy Hi, I am Katrina and I am undergoing a second real journey with intuitive eating. The thing is, I have this real desire to eat and live in a more European way by enjoying slow cooked food, in season and local, with family and friends. I want to eat whatever I want but only at traditional meal times. This also makes it so much easier to enjoy my family and friends by actually being hungry at restaurant with them. I have always had a problem eating real and balanced meals and instead try to make up for all the snacking I do though out the day so it seems to me that a three meal a day plan would be ideal and healing for me. However, in a lot of IE books I read, they tell you to just fill up to not hungry and to eat more like 5 or 6 times a day. What are your thoughts on this? How do meals work for you?
