Guest guest
Wondering out loud if you maybe had a nasty flu or something else in the last couple of weeks.. your iron and sugar levels are definitely something to keep an eye on but it could be the body correcting after an infection..as you RBC is also high.. I am not sure if I would do anything other than diet changes and retest in three months though as the numbers are not that off..and your RBC could have sometihng to do with it.. Guest guest
I was mulling something over in my mind, but haven't gone looking again yet. The HgA1C test (I think that's the right term) measures what the blood sugar has averaged over a long period of time. I found out that the way this is done is that some hemoglobin is rendered as useless if it attaches to blood sugar molecules, and that it does increase with blood sugar, under certain circumstances. I think I got that explanation off of the HealthCheck site, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, this is what gauges that test. This was a total surprise to me (the explanation of how the test is rendered), so I guess what I'm saying is that I'm seeing a connection there. My hemoglobin is right at the high end also, as though they match exactly. I'm going to go in there and look around about that. Probably what would set my mind completely at rest about this to actually have the HgA1C test done. The tests that are " off " look like they are in " unison " or perspective to each other. Maybe reading too much into this, but it might explain the way I've been feeling----Not quite right, but not quite as wrong as formerly. Yes, I've always got allergies to something, many many things, and I do fight respiratory infections quite often. It's been awhile since I took any antibiotics, I've been trying to stay away from them, so that they're not rendered useless on me. I fasted for a long time for this testing, so it would be no surprise that I might be dehydrated some and not have much actual serum iron. Guest guest
Yes, that's the test I'm talking about. Well, one more test to put on the list, lol.
