So, you all smoke; Buster may be a dog (smoking or not),and said dog is a Boxer as opposed to wearing boxers.I still do not know who the "baby" is. . . . I try. . . . . . . .I just could not resist this comment, but am glad that you are o.k.n, a total "Dognut," as opposed to being a "doughnut"To: MSersLife Sent: Wed, January 20, 2010 8:13:21 AMSubject: Re: update time please! / |)onna's update

Wow, Donna, what a scare! Don't do that again, mmmk? And the city you were wanting is Albuquerque, NM. ANd a lovely city it is, I spent a winter there once, it was great! Only thing is there was nothing GREEN it was all sand and rocks, but the mountains... beautiful! !! And the food was great! I love tamales and such and there of course they are found in abundance (not mass-produced, REAL ones). But I digress.... Buster might need some obedience training, boxers are big and very powerful and I would not want your baby hurt trying to protect you. And

you stop those scares! AND...let me KNOW when you are playing so I can join in! ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- Re: update time please! / |)onna's update Why is it that you always seem to ask for an update after I've just had something happen or done something stupid.. LOLMonday night, Earl was over to visit for awhile.. I was planning to have my bath, and my clothes changed & hair washed BEFORE he got here.. he just got here more quickly than I expected..For some reason Buster decided that he MUST eat Earl so that Earl wouldn't get through the door.. I was home alone when Earl arrived.. I really really did not expect the reaction from Buster that Buster produced though.. I'm am pretty sure he'd have bitten him (so was Earl) if he'd have opened the door.. Thank goodness , was nearly right

behind Earl.. he came in first and got Buster somewhat settled.. Buster was still bristled when Earl came in..but wasn't snarling..We settled in for a bit of Runescape.. I didn't have the laptop out here in the living room so poor Earl had to play on my desktop.. He was showing me how he plays one of the mini-games.. (This kid has it all down pat.. and I'm finding out how it is that the other kids do things that we.. "too old to play" people can't seem to do.. LOL)..Now the three of us have been in this same room together many many many times before.. and ALL or us smoke.. And I've been fighting a cold off and on and off and on for weeks and weeks now.. probably even before Christmas.. so I don't believe that was the problem..Now I know that I've started smoking way more than I ever did.. and it's much too much shouldn't be doing 2 to 3 packs a day.. not when I was doing less than a

pack a day a few weeks ago.. So to start with, I knew my chest was tight...But ALL of a sudden, I just could not seem to get enough oxygen in my lungs to satisfy the need for air.. I did stay calm, but it got worse and worse.. I got my chair over to the living room door.. got it open.. got me into the threshold of the door.. with it wide open.. I told them before I started to move that I couldn't catch my breath.. I sat there for awhile.. it would seem to get better.. then not be so better.. but I had my head out the door in the cold fresh air.. course decided to stand out on the porch holding the door open.. I kept telling him this would pass.. he kept asking if I was okay.. kinda hard to play that game while you're trying to NOT panic and hyperventilate when you feel like your suffocating. .At one point I got really faint.. things were browning out.. I'm reaching for the right arm on

my chair, cause I had pushed it up so it wouldn't be in my way moving around.. but right then wanted it beside me so I wouldn't fall out of the chair if I lost my balance in there while browning.. ..THEN.. my left arm went completely and totally numb.. and I was pretty sure I might be able to lift it.. but it wasn't going to stay under my control to do anything with it.. Now that's happened before.. not quite to that extent.. and over 9 years ago.. then the right arm start to follow suit..THAT scared the beejeebers out of me.. and I did start to hyperventilate. . then caught myself.. 's running for a flashlight.. to check my lips.. now it's one of those flashlights that if you look at the bulb it looks bluish to start with.. LOL.. but he tells me that my lips are blue.. he's calling an ambulance.. (he was trying to do this before, and I kept telling him no.. it would pass).. Well.. once

everything had numbed and my lips were blue (so he sez.. ) when he said dial 911? I nodded..By the time all THREE ambulances got here.. with my kid and running round through the yard trying to catch them (they were told which street to come up).. EVERYTHING was nearly completely back to normal.. little bit of numbness left in my arms and legs.. (Oh I forgot..my legs got numb too.. more so than usual)But it was all pretty much back to normal.. I was a little blabbery.. but I got EMT's well maybe only 2 EMT's the other 2 attendants.. at least 2 of which are asking questions.. lol.. didn't like the guy to my right with the machine.. but my pulse ox never dropped below 95..I was fine.. they weren't going to take me to the hospital if I didn't want to go.. I really didn't want to go.. (not sure they actually wanted to take me either).. but said it was like this.. You're either

going in the ambulance or I'M going to take you.. either way you're going to the ER to be checked out..So Off I went.. had I gone to McGee.. they probably would have kept me.. but Jeannette sent me home with methylpred 4 mg (which I think is the same thing as prednisone). . a Z-Pak and an Albuterol inhaler.. they judged it a COPD flare.. cept I don't have COPD this in only my 2nd lifetime bout with bronchitis.. never ever had an Asthma attack.. but I'm a smoker.. therefore..Well this hospital wasn't equipped to make the call on it being a flare with the MS.. I've got plaque in the cervical region.. which tells that the episodes with the right arm have happened before.. and they did.. this time I'd bet they'd find on an MRI a lesion just a bit higher in the cervical region.. affecting the lung function...And I heard today that my friend's sister, who also lives in Arizona (pretty

sure Tucson.. or the other big city that I can't remember.. the one with the huge hot air balloon rally thing) is having a tremendous amount of breathing problems right now as well..I knew this could happen.. back when I was diagnosed.. only because I did some research but also because I knew that Bonnie had the same type problem either shortly after her diagnosis 25 plus years ago. or just before her diagnosis.. don't know how long her episode of not being able to breathe lasted.. just know she had it..Little scary being home alone all day now that it's actually happened to me.. but being on the roids right now.. don't think it will happen again.. and I do have the inhaler.. and the phones beside me.. I just worry about BUSTER... because the ambulance guys would NOT get in this house to help me.. but I got myself to the door before in my chair.. and like I told .. IF I have to call them

again.. I will just put my coat on.. (it's beside me by the couch now).. and my slippers and I will get myself OUTSIDE with the door closed before they get here.. I'm thoroughly afraid that they'd have to probably shoot Buster to get to me.. and I WILL NOT let that happen...Gotta get some info on working with the dog so that people can actually get in here to help me in need be too.. It's good to know that the dog could actually scare an uninvited intruder away.. but not so good to know that he'd get himself hurt trying to protect me.. especially from somebody here to help meON the good side.. the control arm thing for my wheelz is in.. they will be coming to put it on this Friday.. Earl will be coming to stay tomorrow evening.. so that he will be here and settled in with Buster while is home.. and he can help me with Buster when the guy arrives to fix the chair.. I'l be happy not to

hae that dangling part hanging there.. but if I disconnect it now.. the control won't power on at all.. so long as it's connected.. works just fine.. LOLSo.. weather has cleared.. yard is a mass of mushy stuff now.. hope spring gets here soon.. I've had enough winter to last me for awhile..HUGS|)onnaSharon wrote:>>> I am wondering what is going on with everyone. What are you all > doing? Is everyone okay? Buster is a dog and the breed being boxer.. lol.. though he from time to

time wears t-shirts and hoodies.. lol..

Buster does, unfortunately receive 2nd hand smoke, and I've never caught

him with a smoking cig hanging out his mouth.. bones maybe.. toys

maybe.. 's hand or arm.. but never a cigarette.. LOL

I'm not sure who the " baby " is either.. well Buster is my baby doggie

(so is Zucco).. Earl is my baby boy (youngest son).. and well..

he's just everything..

Thanks for your humor n.. I think you'd do well with me in an

emergency situation as well.. I'm great when it's someone else with the

emergency.. I can stay calm.. but I guess that through all of the

Multiple Surprises.. from day one.. has been there.. and he's kept

me laughing through the whole experience.. Guess I'm actually the baby

here.. lol cause I don't wanna do any of this stuff alone ever.. LOL
