Guest guest
Yesterday dear hubby made a statement about 'junk food' and I had to reply with what I had come to think about that phrase. I first told him that one of the best things I read in the IE book was how one of the authors had told her son that she doesn't like to use the word 'junk' preferring 'play' as a better description for occasionally indulged foods. I have since re-defined 'junk' for myself to mean foods that my body does not appreciate. This helps me to keep my understanding and related choices focused on my needs rather than having a judgmental reaction based upon what others think. I've also noticed how much this phrase is tossed about, especially this time of year ;-) Katcha IEing since March 2007
