Guest guest
Probiotics, vitamin d, extended breastfeeding. If you had an infant, as I do ( 8 months) and his older siblings were on the autistic spectrum, what would you do for him early on without knowing his future health. -- Toni------Mind like a steel trap...Rusty and illegal in 37 states. Guest guest
There's one by Nature's Way (I think) at the Vitamin Shoppe, in the fridge case... it's about 15$ for a jar. It's a sugary powder, easy to give. Made for babies. I am still breast feeding and giving vitamin d. Guest guest
I have a younger son in that situation. My Autistic son is 12 and his brother is now 9. My oldest was Diag. at almost 4 when my younger was 3 months. I called ECI and requested evaluations. Due to the risk they came out. he did fine the first year. When he was about a year and a half he lost 2 words in about a month period (cup and momma) so I called and they evaluated. and he was abou 4-6month. so he was in until he was 3. he graduated with flying colors. also. during his infancy, my oldest went to our childrens house at baylor. and the other therapists loved to see my happy little one comming. So I would let them " play " with him as much as they wanted. they had him walking before he was 9months and running shortly there after. the speach scared me because he was so proficient so early he had short sentances and lots of sign lang. by a year. so when he lost some I was hyper sensitive. I was also very sensitive to what he ate. we found he had a corn alergy early. and were able to keep him moving foward. I will say we have not and will not have any more children due to the risk. I hope this was helpfull.
