Hello!

I have been a member here for a while but have been on no-mail. I wanted to

reintroduce myself.

I am W. (28), married for almost 9 years to Dan (30). We live in

Indiana.

We have 4 boys Christian (7), Caleb (6), Kiernan (2) and our newest and last

edition, Isaac (8 days). He was born on April 10, a week before

his

due date, 9 pounds 10 ounces and 20 inches long.

I didn't Bf my first two very long, just two weeks. Noone had told me about

growth spurts and I have an inverted nipple and that spelled disaster. With

our third I wanted to educate my self more and read, read, read. The best

book that helped me was the LLL book, The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. It

became my Bible while I BF Kiernan for a year at which point he self weaned.

is doing well but he seems to want the work done for him. lol He

wants the nipple put in his mouth and then he might suck. lol It has been

difficult because of the inverted nipple but he seems to be working a little

harder now. He is going three hours between feedings with one 5 hour

stretch. Sometimes I get lucky and it happens at night but not always. lol

So there we are, happy to be here again!

HI MICHELE!

I thought I would oblige the request to introduce myself - I'm new to intuitive

eating and have read a couple books so far in overcoming overeating. I am

struggling with giving up the dieting, being comfortable gaining weight while

learning how to do this, and how to deal with the outside world that thinks I'm

wrong or that their diets work.

Im hoping to find the support that is lacking here in my current environment on

this website. I found that when quitting smoking support was essential, so I

figure it must be the same with this new positive yet difficult change. :)
