Thank you!I think the need to distinguish between adult and child baptism, other than purely theological of course (in the Baptist tradition, baptism of an infant is not practiced, and it is not considered a valid baptism in most Baptist churches), arises from living in a country where almost everybody are baptized as infants, in the Lutheran church (the numbers are lowering, but as late as the year 2000 75% of all babies born in Sweden that year were baptized in the Lutheran church), and where the word baptism hence is understood, by most, as referring specifically to infant baptism. love/Reb> > > > > >> > > > > >> > > > > > I am doing some writing on the research project involving the> > > > > > Pentecostal church (that I mentioned earlier).
