Saw my new thyroid doctor today

I finally met the thyroid doctor that I had picked out via the Best Docs site. I am most pleased with her. She spent 2 hours with me today going over my history, discussing options, etc. She ordered the adrenal and hormone tests and I will do that on Monday. We did not re-do the thyroid tests since I had two recent sets of labs for her to review. She prescribed 1/2 grain Armour and we will do the thyroid tests in 6 weeks.

She is an M.D. and an M.D.(H). The latter is for holistic medicine. An interesting side note is she is hypothyroid herself so has a vested interest in treatment.

So now for the part that I have been dreading all this time. Beginning medication and seeing if I have any adverse issues with it. For once I would just appreciate it going well with something and no struggles. What are my chances?
