Extreme thirst?--RT3 or adrenal?

I've not had this before, but today while in the store my mouth was really dry

and I was desperate for water. Normally I have a bottle of water with me all day

and I drink all day as a habit.

But I didn't have any this time. Is it because I'm used to drinking all day, or

something I need to be concerned with, either hypo or adrenal?
