Guest guest
Enthesopathy is an inflammation of the insertion of the tendon or ligament to a bone. I had this as a child. It does go away with time. You can have it happen in a variety of places. Mine was where my achilles joined my heels. This specific condition was called Police Man's Heel. It went away in a year or so without any further issues. I wasn't started on drugs. But orthotics to raise my heels up were suggested. As your doctor said, it's a better diagnosis than arthritis as it doesn't affect the cartilage and result in a wear out situation over time.
