Guest guest
Miss Bea was in her eighties, and much admired for her sweetness and kindness to all. The pastor came to call on her one afternoon early in the spring, and she welcomed him into her n parlor. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared a little tea. Looking at facing her old pump organ, the young minister noticed a cut glass bowl sitting on top of it, filled with water. In the water floated, of all things, a condom. Imagine his shock and surprise. Imagine his curiosity! Surely Miss Bea had flipped or something.....! But he certainly couldn't mention the strange sight in her parlor. When she returned with tea and cookies, they began to chat. The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him, and he could resist no longer. " Miss Bea, " he said, " I wonder if you would tell me about this, " (pointing to the bowl). " Oh, yes, " she replied, " isn't it wonderful? I was walking downtown last fall and I found this little package. It said to put it on the organ, keep it wet and it would prevent disease. And you know...I haven't had a cold all winter

Guest guest
Cool! You will have plenty of room to put pots in containers around there then! That will look lush! Guest guest
OH cool! About waist high or so??? That is so handy because you can garden without having to bend over plus you can use the planters themselves as privacy screens. I saw some at our local extension office that were built of simple two by fours but then they put wainscotting over that & stained it. Looked slightly asian & very nice. Guest guest
I'm not sure how high, but he's putting some kind of lattice on two sides and we're going to plant some climbers on them on the outside. I'm just letting him design it, he's really good at that kind of thing. He will run his drawings by me first, though. kathy Re: lol> > > Cool! Guest guest
I saw a bag of chips on the couch and immediately thought, whoopee, chips would be good right now! When I got there I found it was a bag of grout mix for the new bathroom tiles. Hmm, the chip craving vanished as fast as it came :-) Ellie
