Guest guest
I started T3 on 10/8. I had ramped up to 150mcg & felt ok, but weaned down to 125 after an earlier discussion on this list about higher T3 doses stressing out the adrenals. I have almost no cortisal production. So I've been on 125mcg T3 for about 2weeks - dosing: 25 8am 25 11am 25 2pm 25 6pm 25 bedtime I'm lethargic, slight headache, dry skin, a little brain fog. My temps arent' getting out of 96s. I'm tempted to go back to 150mcg of T3. I recently had labs done, but they drew blood within an hour of taking T3 (didn't know they were going to draw blood). Free T3 809 230-420 Free Testosterone 1.8 35-155 potassium 4.9 3.5-5.3 sodium 157 135-146 calcium 9.7 8.6-10.2 creatin 0.62 0.76-1.46 bun/creatin ratio 34 6-22 Didn't do ferratin, but it was a good number last year 109 (10 - 232) 8/2009 Carbon Dioxide 18 21-33 Any thoughts? What should I be looking for with respect to a T3 breakthrough? Thanks, C
Guest guest
These labs were taken within 1hour of taking T3 - wouldn't that affect the T3 number? Sodium was a typo, sorry. Its 147 135-146. I think I was taking too much sea salt at the time. This is my 24hour cortisol results from 2008 8am - 18 (13-24) noon - 1 (5-10) 5pm - <1 (3-8) 11pm - <1 (1-4) HC Dosing schedule (using 1% HC creme from walmart): 10mg 7:30am 10mg 11am 7.5 2pm 5 6pm 2.5 bedtime Ferratin - done 8/2009 109 (10 - 232) I spoke about the testosterone lab with my gyn, who's also an endo (she's Hyperthyroid) She said that Testosterone just turns into estragen in the body & advised not to supplement. Will the low testosterone impact my thyroid or adrenals? Thanks > > Free T3 809 230-420 I do nto believe yo uneed more T3 > Free Testosterone 1.8 35-155 Thsi si HORRIBLY low > > potassium 4.9 3.5-5.3 This is bordering on too high > sodium 157 135-146 OUCH too high > > You say you make no cortisol what are you taking to replace it and how are you dosing it?
