PLEASE HELP STOP RESTRAINT AND SECLUSION FROM BECOMING PART OF YOUR CHILD'S FUTURE!

Dear Florida Parent Advocates,

PLEASE HELP with calls and letters that are urgently needed to the House of Representative members to get HB81 moving. Please make the calls to the people below the rest of this week and next week if needed. GETTING THIS BILL PASSED IS CRITICAL IF WE WANT TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE WHEN THEY GO OFF TO SCHOOL EACH DAY.

Please call your local house representative and ask them to please Co-Sponsor HB81 - Use, Prevention, and Reduction of Seclusion and Restraint on Students with Disabilities in Public Schools. To contact you local House Representative click on this link http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Representatives/representatives.aspx , click on the gray box in the top left side of the page that reads "FIND YOUR REPRESENTATIVE" and follow the instructions. Call the local district office first, it they are not there please call the Tallahassee office.

Please ask them to Co-Sponsor HB81. If they decide not to co-sponsor ask them if they will please support the bill when it goes through their committee. Attached are the talking points if you need any guidance when making your calls.
