Guest guest
Sorry about the duplicate post from NTH, but they sent me here. Since it is now determined that I have a RT3 problem and would need T3-only meds, should I stay on the NDT until I see my new (and good) doc on 2/8 and let him switch me to Cytomel or should I stop NDT until then? I'm thinking if the T4 in the NDT is being turned into RT3 then taking NDT really isn't doing me any good and may even be making the situation worse. My labs were fT3 3.2 pg/mL (1.7-3.7) RT3 38 ng/dL (11-32) I'm still not convinced on the math of the ratio (comes out to 8.4 if I sort of follow the instructions given my units of measure don't match anything in the instructions) but obviously I have an RT3 problem.
