I Really Do not Want To Bash Endos, But! (Sorry, a little long)

I am doing my best to keep from screaming. This is because I had a follow-up appointment wih the endo (from the amourthyroid website). I fired another top doc my Shomon's website after ayear and statred seeing this one in Septer '05. To refresh some memories, l am also seeing an alternative doctor. So far with him, everything is OK. Back to this endo. The onyl reason I still see him is because he prescribes armour, and he is a TSH man! He started, me back in October on 2 grains of thyroid. Since then, I increased on my own to 3 1/4 grains in late December because my body seemed to need it. I had planned to tell him, but once I saw him today I changed my mind. I asked him for an increase to see what he wouod say, and of course he felt that I was at a good dose and wants me to stay there until the end of March. I almost freaked. He stated that he did

not want to give me too much because he was worried that I would get hyper. Wait until you see the numbers from my December test with him. I also had my own testing done this month, and what a difference! I also asked that ferriten test be done, and of course he made all kinds of excused for not doing on. I remained as cool as I could. I am doing my best not to slander this man. I know some peole don't agree with it, but after 30 odd years, I am sicdk of these doctors basing everyhting on money. Let me explain an incident that happened while I was there. I overheard the doctor talking with his office personnel while he was supposed to be in th rom with me. He wanted to know why there were no additional appointments scheduled on the days that he does physicals. One of the lady stated that if too many patients were scheduled, there would be no time to propely annoted the patient records after each appointment. The doc

stated he was not pleased with this, he said that he can take appointments between each physical whil other tests were being done. So now he instructed the staff to schdule as many patients as necessary with none of their concerns even being considered. Here are is blood test results that he stated were getting better.PLEEEEZE! You know what, I already had problems with doctors most of my life. It got worse after I read kevin Trudeau's book about natural cures doctors donot wan us to know. My experiences with the endos that I have fired and this one have me pissed off! Self-medicating, with care, does not bother me at all! I am boiling over right now, but but this is too long.
