Ha ha ha, my husband called it like that too, he would say, ohh our son has vodoo doctor today?..well anyway, I could not finish the whole protocol because it was expensive and even the doctor was getting impatient with my son, so I left. You take my money and I have to deal with your attitude?...like I don't have enough of that with real doctors...anyway here is how it works...

The "dr" has a case full of little viles...each vile has a liquid made out of the "allergen", for example, there are viles for sugar, salt, gluten, flour, corn, peanuts and so on...they test the child to see if he or she is sensitive to the vile.....they make you hold the child in one hand and with the other you (the parent) hold the vile in your hand and the doctor tells you to put your arm up (not all the way up but horizontally, as if you are sleep walking), then the doctor tries to push it down, you have to resist as much as possible, if the arm does not come down quickly, it means the child is not sensitive to the allergen, but if your arm comes down easy, then the child is sensitve to the allergen, and in that case, the child is put in a little room for about 15 minutes, the child has to hold this vile, it could be either on his hand or it could be taped to his leg, the point is that

this vile has to be in contact with the skin...then they charge you (in my case like 150 dls) and for 24 hours the child can't be in touch with that allergen...meaning he or she can't eat it, touch, it smell it. For example if the allergen was sugar, you can't let them have any sugar at all. They give you a list of all the things to get away from during that time...is easy when its with these kind of things, but then things get complicated when they start with things like "water", "family members". or "school supplies, like crayons, glue, playdoh"

Oh yeah, they will sell you the book that explains all the different allergens and the order in which they are tested...

I hope I could explain this well, english is not my first language...

Good luck with this if you want to try it...I never critize anybody for trying things that seem to have some sort of logic...this just didn't work out for us...

As many of you know, as far as I'm concerned, NAET is equivalent to voodoo.

I have a very close friend whose son's asthma got much better with it and she would not lie to me. I called one doctor and asked for references on Autism, she connected me with a lady that says she is very happy with it, her 8 year old daughter got much better and she never did any treatment or biomedical before, she said she started NAET a year ago and has seen tremendous changes. What I heard is that once you treat the basic 15 food allergies, you start seeing changes!!! more after 30 and much better after 50.I am still skeptical; I would like to find a trusted person that can provide some advice that has gone at least through the basics. My insurace cover it though! Thank you for the info! >> It's very helpful to eliminate the allergies. I know a friend who was doing this with her son and she saw huge differences...yes it was very expensive, but very helpful for them. Remember, all our kids are different and certain things work for some kids and not others.
