Guest guest
Based on my experiences as a teacher of deaf/deafblind infants for many years, I agree with . Give her a reason to want to keep the aid(s) in and eventually she will. Initially keep 'hearing aid time' special - short, sweet, positive and FUN! Give her interesting things to listen to (like your voice singing hello as soon as aids go in) and things to do with her hands to keep them occupied (and away from aids!), without bombarding her with too much. Fingerplays are great too. Good luck...slowly, slowly, catchy monkey! hugs, Sharon from West Oz >Stick with it stick with it stick with it...don't give up!
