Guest guest
Hi That's great news that you already are going to see a Physical Therapist- tort is one of those things that has to be treated over months or even longer- but the PT will make a huge difference- many parents have been where you are today. Plus DOC are experts in bands so you will get good treatment and results there too. So you can rest easy that you have got good treatment in time and hopefully in a year or less all this will be behind you. I find it hard to remember what it was like before and during my daughter's time in the helmet- she looks so great and we just never think about it now. I only ever think about it when I come on the boards to share our experiences as I wish I had known of this when I started out- I just felt so alone- once I found this community I felt an awful lot better! Let us know how the fitting goes- at 6 months I'm sure will adjust well and you can get on with this.
