Dear n,

Glad to hear that you are back home safely and everything went ok. Lets see how you will feel with neurontin.

So, after MRIs of my brain, cervical spine, lower back, and an MRA, the conclusion was that the pain from myperipheral neuropathy and my lower back pain neededNeurontin. I am not on day 5 on it and have not feltbetter in years. This time it was not sciatica, not diabetes, not some weird thing caused by one of myother odd disorders.Oddly, I reacted very well to Neurontin, whereas Ihad never been able to tolerate it before. So, I have spent my first day home--got here about1 p.m. going through my vast collection of e-mails.I missed you all, and I, for one, am glad to be homeand to be back among you.Love to you all,n

Oh, I'm happy for you on many fronts--that you arehome; that they were good to you in the hospital, and that you are responding well to the neurontin!I'm on 600 to 1200 (if TN gets bad) mgs. of neurontina day. It works so well for me that if I forget a dose ofit, my trigeminal neuralgia rears it's ugly head.So glad to have you back among us and see youposting!love to you my friend, Kate Back from hospital--they were very good to meTo: MSersLife > So, after MRIs of my brain, cervical spine, lower back,> and an MRA, the conclusion was that the pain from my> peripheral neuropathy and my lower back pain needed> Neurontin. Glad that you're home and back amongst us n!

I'm also glad that all those tests showed nothing more than another

Multiple Surprise for you.. an that the Neurontin works well for you.. I

get the generic form (Gabapentin) and I love how well it works.. most

days.. I think that it's not necessarily a problem with the dosage for

me but a problem with me remembering to take it when I should be taking

it..

I guess that's the problem with meds that are supposed to be taken on

schedule.. and life doesn't always run on schedule.. lol

Again, glad you're home and the meds are working

Thank you, Kate! The whole admission could have beenavoided had I let my internist put me on Neurontin last year.On the other hand, he had been convinced that as I havefour replaced joints, that I could not have MRIs from thewaist up--so I got plenty out of it all.Love, to you and the kids, and to all here,nTo:
