Guest guest
Caren - I like the idea of a pedometer. Since walking is the only exercise I can get in right now I am curious how far I walk. That is so cool it beeps when you earn a activity point. I am a homie so I will have to look at the store for one. Do you have any suggestions as I don't know anything about these little gadgets? Guest guest
Caren, You will love the pedometer. I bought one last year at Target (I think it was around $15) and used it all the time. I need to try to reset it because it isn't working right now. Maureen My 40 lb reward! I told myself when I hit 40 lbs gone I would reward myself, so tonight I bought a pedometer!! Guest guest
Sherrie I bought mine at Target for around $15, but I have seen them in sporting goods store for more (probably more features). Mine was pretty basic, just measured your miles. Maureen Re: My 40 lb reward! Caren - I like the idea of a pedometer. Guest guest
Sherrie- the only advice I do have is to try to get one that has a cover(or lid) that closes over the read out(and where the buttons are on it.) I have a friend who bought one that kept re setting itself because whenever she would accidently bump the face of it it would reset to zero and she would have no record of miles walked then......maybe WW online has the same sale going on the pedometers?- if you can buy one from their site- I got mine for $12.95!! Guest guest
Thanks Maureen - I got my keys back yesterday at my 2 week post-op checkup so today I am off to do a little indoor walking and maybe some shopping. It has been so hot and humid here and DR doesn't want me walking outside in the heat. I am healing nicely and have another checkup in 4 weeks. I am still limited as to what I can do - no working or heavy lifting over 15 pounds and no exercising except walking. I am also counting the days, (actually 4 weeks) to when I can have a little intimate time with my DH. That's probably more than you wanted to know so have a great day! Guest guest
Sherrie! one of the girls that goes to meeting with Caren and I suggested that you try to find one that has a cover... she bumped her first one and reset it all the time... so she never had an accurate amount. She found a new one that has a flip cover for like $20 at a sporting store i think! good luck! JENN ladi-jz@... WW OP since 10/01 198/172/155 Re: My 40 lb reward!
