HALLELUJAH!  I'm adding GABA to my line of supps starting tomorrow!  Holy crap, I wish I would've read about GABA sooner!  I'm chasing verbal language like it's the holy grail...  I hadn't come across GABA being used as a language supp yet but if GABA does it for even one of you guys, I'm trying GABA.

OK, maybe i'm really tired from a head cold and all and this makes sense only to me...but GABA sounds so close to gabbing that I think it's GOTTA work for a speech supp.

 

We just started GABA ( " Zen " capsules) this past week with the hopes that it would help with anxiety, but my son's speech improved dramatically just a couple of hours after I gave the first dose. It's difficult to say whether it's due to the GABA but the timing was very interesting to me. We gave him the GABA before his nap on Friday, and he woke up from his nap speaking clearly! It was very sudden. I didn't know that GABA is known to help with speech in some cases so I really think this may be the case for my son.

What I noticed was that his speech was much easier to understand -- he had been slurring his words and was getting harder to understand, and all of a sudden we could understand every word that he was saying!
